Rainbow Day at Naima JPS
On the 13th February 2015 we held our annual Rainbow Day at Naima JPS. Each year group was asked to come dressed as a particular colour of the rainbow and give a donation to ‘Fight for Life’. The reason we choose ‘Rainbow Day’ was because when put together the colours of the rainbow create something beautiful.
The symbolism was that by bringing a small donation and putting it all together the children were able to help children who are ‘poorly’ – which is also beautiful. We are encouraging the children to help other children and Adele Marks came to our assembly to talk about ‘Fight for Life’ and what they do.
The day was a huge success and we hope to repeat the day next year.
