11th Walkers Gary Lineker Charity Golf Day at Foxhills

Our patron, Gary Lineker hosted the 11th Walkers Charity Golf Day at Foxhills Golf Resort on Sunday 26th August 2007.

Supported by many of Gary's celebrity friends the day kicked off with breakfast in the beautiful new clubhouse, then the team draw and shotgun start for the golf on the world famous Bernard Hunt Course.

After a Pimms reception on the Manor House lawn, a delicious BBQ lunch was served in the marquee followed by great entertainment from X-Factor finalist Jonathan Bremner, the ever hilarious Bobby Davro as Auctoneer, Brendan Cole auctioning off a spectacular dance with a lovely guest......and even ELVIS made an appearance - it really couldn't fail to be a huge success raising 73k towards our new commitment at The University College Hospital PET CT Scanner Appeal.

On the day Gary said he was thrilled to continue his support and patronage to Fight for Life and feels its so important to know that all monies raised at his golf days go directly to the charity to be used to save childrens lives.
