Foxhill's Golf Day 2003 a roaring success!

£1 million raised since our inception.

Our Pro - Amateur Golf day at Foxhills Golf Club in Surrey was held on the 31st of August 2003.

With the help of Gary Lineker and his friends, we were able to raise £77,000 on the day. This means that since the charity started, we have raised over £1,000,000 for our unit.

A great day was had by all, as amateurs were teamed up with celebrities from the world of sport and entertainment. Including our host and patron Gary Lineker, Michael Owen, Ian Wright, the Underwood brothers, Alan Hansen, Mark Bright, Norman Pace, Bob Wilson, Bobby Davro and many others.

After the tournament the committee, in conjunction with Foxhills put on a fabulous barbeque lunch. Bobby Davro hosted the auction, raising close to £40,000. With the help of our surprise guests 'Tenors Unlimited' a fabulous day was had by all. The Fight for Life annual golf day at Foxhills is a family day for all the teams, the celebrities and their children, with something for everyone making this event the highlight of the charity golfing calender.
