Foxhill's Annual Golf Day

Each year at the end of August, Gary Lineker hosts a golf day with Fight For Life at Foxhills Golf Club in Surrey. The format is a Celebrity and Amateur day. Each team of three amateurs is teamed up with a celebrity to play at this prestigious Country Club. It is a family day and players are encouraged to bring along their families, who are 'entertained' during the golf contest. Gary Lineker has been hosting this golf day with Fight For Life since our inception and it is singularly our biggest fund raising event. It produces revenue of in excess of £70,000 pa, which represents nearly half of our annual commitments towards the upkeep of the unit. The event is sponsored by 'Walkers' snack foods.
